The Town hall
The Town Hall is a bright wooden pannelled hall situated at the front of the Town Hall complex and has access on to the High Street via large double doors and disabled access side door.

It has the capacity for 85 to be seated at tables or 120 in a seated audience (depending on set up and fire risk assessment). Facilities include a heating/air-con system, chairs, 6ft long tables, round celebration tables and card tables. There is a podium at one end of the hall to which a portable stage can be attached. It has access to our well equipped kitchen through which you can access our pretty courtyard garden and also has access to the Council Chamber which can be booked seperately.
The hall is often used for wedding receptions and parties, presentations and demonstrations, drama and musical productions, AGMs and fairs. Local groups also use the hall for regular meetings and classes.
Kitchen
This is accessible from both the Large Hall and the Council Chamber. It is not a commercial kitchen but has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and instant water boiler. There are approximately 100 place settings of crockery (large plates, small plates, bowls, cups and saucers) and has direct access into the pretty courtyard garden.
Equipment
We have a range of additional equipment available to hire, this includes: screen, OHP, flipchart stand, pads, projector, cinema system, PA system and stage. We also have various styles of tables and chairs to suit any occasion. Our portable stage can be used in the Large Hall or Exhibition Hall. Ask a member of the team for further details.
