Selsey Town Council publicly congratulates members of the Selsey Jubilee Jamboree at its Full Council Meeting

At the recent Full Council Meeting Selsey Town Council publicly acknowledged all the hard work and effort from the Selsey Jubilee Jamboree group and congratulated them on a successful event that the residents enjoyed and appreciated. 

The Town Council maintains a constant focus on value for money to the public purse.  This includes spend on its service provision, alongside community and events grant provision, to support, encourage and enable community - all centred on the benefit of Selsey's residents and businesses. 

Selsey Town Council seeks residents' input from time to time to help shape its policies and decision making for the future and would like to thank all the households who completed the questionnaire in July about the Jubilee events in the Parish of Selsey.

The Town Council has noted that 70% of responders would prefer the Selsey community to run events rather than Selsey Town Council.  56% of responders stated that the Jubilee events at both the High Street and the Recreation Ground were excellent or good.
